For 2018, GMC took a winning vehicle—the Acadia—and fine-tuned it for added versatility, functionality, and style. The changes made to the 2018 GMC Acadia are improvements on an already stellar vehicle, rather than a total overhaul. New buyers still have plenty to be excited about, though.
Perhaps the most exciting change to come in 2018 is the additional selection new buyers have at various trim levels. The SLE-1 can now be outfitted with a beefier 3.6-liter V6 LGX engine, while the All Terrain package can be configured with five, six, or seven-passenger seating instead of the five-passenger limitation of the 2017 models. GMC shows its commitment to great options further by introducing a new exterior color: Blue Steel Metallic.
Brand new to the 2018 models is Tire Fill Alert technology, which provides visual and audio alerts when filling an underinflated tire. Additional changes include improvements to the heated steering wheel and a new exterior wheel design on some models.
GMC might not have completely rebuilt the Acadia for 2018, but it didn’t have to! Rather, buyers can look forward to greater customization and improved features on an already incredible vehicle.
