The Jeep brand just made a slam dunk by enlisting the help of NBA star and member of the USA Basketball National Team, Kyrie Irving. Irving, who is the point guard on the national team and plays for the Cleveland Cavaliers, is helping the American carmaker celebrate the Jeep Summer Celebration as he begins his journey with the USA National Team to the 2014 FIBA World Cup.
So far, the Summer Celebration has allowed one lucky fan to play in the Jeep “Open Air Challenge” against Irving in New York City, as well as win tickets to the USA vs. Puerto Rico basketball exhibition game on August 22 at Madison Square Garden. In Chicago, Irving was joined by former NBA star Jalen Rose to take on fans and students from the Jalen Rose Leadership Academy.
For those of you who want to join in on the fun, check out the Jeep brand’s Summer Celebration website and enter to win prizes throughout the summer. You can also upload a summer photo moment using the #jeepsummer hashtag through September 5.
For a look at what Jeep has to offer, stop in to Warsaw Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram today!
This week we learned the all-new 2015 Chrysler 200 has it all – style, performance, technology, and safety – as if we didn’t know that already. After rigorous testing by the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety, we at Warsaw Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram are pleased to announce the automaker’s new sedan passed each test with the highest rating possible, adding Top Safety Pick+ to its list of awards.
The Chrysler 200 went through five tests to determine the car’s ability to protect passengers in the event of an accident: the moderate overlap front, side impact, roof, head restraints and seats, and the arduous small overlap front. In each, the 200 scored a “good” rating.
The final test, front crash prevention, is used to determine whether the vehicle has the potential to avoid accidents before they occur. When equipped with forward collision warning technology, the Chrysler 200 passed the test with flying colors, scoring a “superior” rating.
“The 200 aced the challenging small overlap front test with a good rating in every measurement category,” said Adrian Lund, IIHS president. “Chrysler should also be commended for offering forward collision warning with autonomous braking on this mainstream midsize car. Our research shows that these systems are effective in preventing some kinds of crashes from happening altogether.”
Adding its now-proven ability to keep passengers safe, is there really any reason you aren’t already on your way to Warsaw CDJR for your 2015 Chrysler 200?
You hate to see them in your rearview mirror, but you love to have them on your side when you need them. We’re talking about the whirling lights and loud sirens of the police cruisers. Pretty soon, you may find our local police officers cruising the streets in a new vehicle that turns heads even without the flashing lights, the all-new 2015 Dodge Charger Pursuit.
The new Dodge Charger Pursuit is redesigned to provide our trusted men and women in uniform with the power, speed, and features they need to do their job.
While the exterior presents a sleek, aggressive front, the interior is clearly designed with the driver in mind.
“Dodge has a strong police car heritage, and we are proud to offer a vehicle armed with modern muscle and cutting-edge technology to help law enforcement agencies perform their duties,” said Tim Kuniskis, president and CEO of the Dodge Brand, SRT Brand and Fleet Operations for Chrysler Group.
“The new Pursuit police car is based on our new 2015 Dodge Charger. It delivers up to 370 best-in-class horsepower, is available in both rear- and all-wheel drive, has a new driver-focused cockpit and adds new safety and security features, as well as new state-of-the art technologies, all designed to deliver the ultimate performance expected from Dodge.”
We at Warsaw CDJR want nothing less for those who put their lives on the line to save ours.
Everyone at Warsaw CDJR loves this time of year. We’re still enjoying the last bit of summer while looking forward to all the activities and new adventures the fall holds. You, like us, are likely deep in the throes of getting the kids ready to head back to school. To make the busy fall schedule a little less hectic, have you considered setting up a carpool with a group of neighbors and nearby friends? Here are a few helpful tips in case you do:
- Select members carefully. In order for a carpool to be successful, it is key that you choose people you know and trust to safely transport your kids to and from their activities. They should be safe drivers, willing to use the necessary equipment (such as a properly installed car seat) to transport your children. And of course, you’ll want them to be punctual. Let your kids know these are adults they can trust as well.
- Set up a consistent schedule. Once you choose the members of your group, establish who is doing what and when. One mom and carpool expert discourages rotating schedules. It is harder to remember who has pick-up duty when the schedule changes week to week. She recommends creating a schedule that stays consistent from week to week even if that means having fewer people in the carpool or having everyone pick up their own kids on a specific day of the week that would otherwise have a rotating schedule.
- Share important information. Communication is vital in establishing a carpool group that lasts through the year or sports season. Be sure to share phone numbers and email addresses in order to contact the group in the event of an emergency or last minute schedule change. Having this information from the beginning will save on complication and miscommunication later.
You’ll also want to share facts other parents should know: how to properly install your child’s car seat, where to pick up and drop off the seat after use, your child’s need to sit in the front seat due to motion sickness tendencies, etc.
We hope these tips help as you set up your successful carpool. All of you experienced carpoolers, let us know if you have any recommendations to add!
According to the J.D. Power APEAL Study, customers love pretty much everything about the Dodge Charger, Challenger, and Dart models. All three vehicles won the APEAL award in their respective segments, a testament to the brand’s ability to satisfy customers’ needs and deliver their wants.
The study evaluates vehicles’ Automotive Performance, Execution, and Layout (APEAL) based on customer responses. Participants evaluate their vehicles after 90 days of ownership and vehicles are scored on a 100-point scale.
The Dodge Charger won for the Large Car segment for the fourth year in a row. The Challenger topped the Sporty Car category for its third time in the past four years; and the Dart scored highest among competitors in the Compact Car class.
“These three APEAL awards, based on customer feedback, are a great way to celebrate Dodge’s 100 year anniversary and Chrysler Group’s commitment to continually deliver exciting, high quality vehicles,” said Doug Betts, Chrysler’s senior vice president of Quality. “A customer’s positive experiences with good quality lead to greater satisfaction, loyalty and the likelihood an owner will recommend their vehicle to friends and family. Personal recommendations are the most powerful type.”
We at Warsaw CDJR couldn’t be more proud to have so many customer favorites on our lot.
