Buyer’s remorseis perhaps one of the worst feelings you can get, especially after making a major purchase like a house or car. But, if you decide to buy a Dodge Challenger or Jeep Grand Cherokee, you may end up feel more satisfied than the average consumer.
Both of these vehicles came away as winners in their respective segments in the AutoPacific Vehicle Satisfaction Awards. For this year’s results, AutoPacific surveyed more than 66,000 new car owners who rated their vehicles in 50 different areas that included performance, fuel economy, interior comfort, and more.
“In many cases, an extremely satisfying vehicle is not the car or truck that has the best absolute build quality or the best safety rating,” said George Peterson, president of AutoPacific, in a statement. “VSAs look at the big picture, which includes owners’ experiences with their vehicle’s quality and safety, but also goes deeper into the heart of the ownership experience.”
This is the second time in three years the Dodge Challenger has come away with this award in the Sporty Car segment. This accolade continues to add to the Jeep Grand Cherokee’s ever-growing list of awards. It is the most-awarded SUV ever.

Chrysler redesigned several of their models for the 2015 model year, including the Chrysler 200 and 300 sedans. All that hard work is paying off now, too. For example, the 2015 Chrysler 200 just won the award as “Car of the Year” at the Denver Auto Show. The Chrysler 200 impressed the Rocky Mountain Automotive Press Association—and the journalists honored the new and improved 200 with the award.
The Chrysler 200 is new both inside and out. In fact, the new exterior design features the new “face” of the brand’s future designs—and what a beautiful face it is. The Chrysler 200 also provides better performance than ever before, with new powertrain options and up to 36 mpg. The Chrysler 200 balances efficiency and power quite expertly, another feature that made it stand out to the journalists.
Of course, it made it stand out to customers as well. So if you’re looking for a new sedan that offers the best of all possible sedan worlds, come see us at Warsaw CJDR to learn more about the Chrysler 200 today. We’ll show you the new face of the brand, take you inside the cabin, and even let you spin it around for a test drive as well.
Two FCA US vehicles recently proved that the American carmaker offers terrific vehicles at a value-oriented price. Both the 2015 Jeep Wrangler and 2015 Ram 1500 were recently recognized with Vincentric Best Value in America Awards in their respective segments.
“The Ram 1500 and the Jeep Wrangler earned Vincentric Best Value in America awards by delivering best-in-class performances when we measured total cost of ownership and compared it to expected results for the competitors in each vehicle’s segment,” said David Wurster, Vincentric President. “Contributing to their success was that both vehicles had the lowest total cost of ownership over five years in their respective categories.”
The Jeep Wrangler has earned the Best Value in America award for four years in a row in the Compact/Mid-size SUV segment. This is the first time the Ram 1500 has been recognized by the award in the Full-size ½-ton Pickup segment and we doubt it will be the truck’s last. The awards were decided after Vincentric analyzed each vehicle’s cost of ownership, including their fuel costs, insurance costs, and maintenance costs.

The Chrysler Group is sponsoring its 3rd Annual Detroit Autorama High School Design Competition. This is a competition with huge stakes that fosters artistry and ambition amongst the youth of America.
The competition is for US public high school students in grades 10-12. Their mission, if they choose to accept it, is very open-minded and leaves immense room for creativity. The goal is to “design a next-generation Dodge brand vehicle for the year 2025, and include a 500-word essay explaining what the Dodge brand means to them,” according to The Auto Channel.
First place will receive a $60,000 scholarship to the College For Creative Studies as well as a Macbook Pro. “The purpose of this competition is to expose students early in their education to the possibility of a career in automotive design while allowing us to connect with young talent and help to develop their artistic skills,” said Mark Trostle, Head of SRT, Mopar and Motorsports Design, Chrysler Group LLC.

As Chrysler Group’s North American facilities continue to adopt the World Class Manufacturing (WCM) methodology to strive for a more efficient and safer workplace, we continue to celebrate as individual plants are awarded for their successful implementation of the system. The Kokomo Transmission Plant (KTP) is the most recent to be awarded with the WCM bronze status for its efforts.
The plant received the distinction after a two-day audit, which took place earlier this month, when it received a score of 51. It is the eighth North American facility to be distinguished with the status.
Discussing the preparations for KTP’s launch of all-new eight- and nine-speed transmissions, vice president and head of NAFTA Manufacturing for Chrysler Group Brian Barlow said, “Through it all, the KTP employees remained focused on implementing World Class Manufacturing and have been acknowledged for those efforts today with the awarding of bronze.”
Concerning the WCM Bronze Status for Chrysler’s transmission plant, Barlow continued, “We are proud of the commitment demonstrated by our employees and the support received from the UAW, which has been critical in making Chrysler Group’s manufacturing facilities among the best in the world.”
We at Warsaw CDJR are grateful the Chrysler Group’s facilities are dedicated not only to producing the quality vehicles that arrive on our lot, but also to caring for the valuable employees who build them.
The Ram 1500 was recently named winner of Motor Trend’s 2015 Half-ton Pickup Shootout. Involving many top-selling trucks in the same class, the competition evaluated acceleration, handling, towing, and fuel economy among other things.
According to Chrysler, the 2015 Ram 1500’s performance was what impressed the judges the most. In particular, the EcoDiesel V6 engine—combined with the Torqueflite eight-speed transmission—allows the pickup to generate up to 305 hp , all while getting 28 mpg.
“The half-ton segment is a severely competitive environment and winning Motor Trend’s half-ton shootout validates that we have the top truck in the segment,” said Bob Hegbloom, CEO of Ram Truck Brand.
The Ram 1500 EcoDiesel also boasts over 269 lb-ft of torque, is capable of towing over 7,000 lbs, and carrying a payload of up to 1,900 lbs. The dependable pickup is designed with capability in mind, giving you the confidence to do any job.

This week we learned the all-new 2015 Chrysler 200 has it all – style, performance, technology, and safety – as if we didn’t know that already. After rigorous testing by the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety, we at Warsaw Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram are pleased to announce the automaker’s new sedan passed each test with the highest rating possible, adding Top Safety Pick+ to its list of awards.
The Chrysler 200 went through five tests to determine the car’s ability to protect passengers in the event of an accident: the moderate overlap front, side impact, roof, head restraints and seats, and the arduous small overlap front. In each, the 200 scored a “good” rating.
The final test, front crash prevention, is used to determine whether the vehicle has the potential to avoid accidents before they occur. When equipped with forward collision warning technology, the Chrysler 200 passed the test with flying colors, scoring a “superior” rating.
“The 200 aced the challenging small overlap front test with a good rating in every measurement category,” said Adrian Lund, IIHS president. “Chrysler should also be commended for offering forward collision warning with autonomous braking on this mainstream midsize car. Our research shows that these systems are effective in preventing some kinds of crashes from happening altogether.”
Adding its now-proven ability to keep passengers safe, is there really any reason you aren’t already on your way to Warsaw CDJR for your 2015 Chrysler 200?
According to the J.D. Power APEAL Study, customers love pretty much everything about the Dodge Charger, Challenger, and Dart models. All three vehicles won the APEAL award in their respective segments, a testament to the brand’s ability to satisfy customers’ needs and deliver their wants.
The study evaluates vehicles’ Automotive Performance, Execution, and Layout (APEAL) based on customer responses. Participants evaluate their vehicles after 90 days of ownership and vehicles are scored on a 100-point scale.
The Dodge Charger won for the Large Car segment for the fourth year in a row. The Challenger topped the Sporty Car category for its third time in the past four years; and the Dart scored highest among competitors in the Compact Car class.
“These three APEAL awards, based on customer feedback, are a great way to celebrate Dodge’s 100 year anniversary and Chrysler Group’s commitment to continually deliver exciting, high quality vehicles,” said Doug Betts, Chrysler’s senior vice president of Quality. “A customer’s positive experiences with good quality lead to greater satisfaction, loyalty and the likelihood an owner will recommend their vehicle to friends and family. Personal recommendations are the most powerful type.”
