2018 Buick Enclave: A Family Vehicle

2018 Buick EnclaveThe Buick Enclave boasts a new design for the 2018 model year. The three-row model arrives with a sleeker, more conservative style and an interior that screams luxury. Thanks in part to its additional technologies and upscale comfort, there’s no denying that the Buick Enclave is a family vehicle from start to finish.

Designed to meet the needs of larger families (or smaller families that want a bit more space), the 2018 Buick Enclave features seating for up to seven passengers. Unlike competing models, the Buick Enclave features a spacious third row that can accommodate taller passengers, too.

A long list of premium amenities puts the Buick Enclave well ahead of competitors. Standard tri-zone climate control, various USB ports, and keyless entry and ignition are just a few of the features that help the three-row crossover climb to the top. Combine those with its innovative technologies, like a built-in Wi-Fi® hotspot and an available Bose® 10-speaker premium audio system, and there’s simply no topping it.

The latest Buick Enclave features a 3.6-liter V6 engine that produces an impressive 302 horsepower and 260 lb-ft of torque. It comes paired to a nine-speed transmission that boasts responsive throttle and smooth shifting. That powertrain, combined with major weight loss, ensures that the Buick Enclave brings a dynamic driving experience unlike any other.

2017 Buick Enclave

As manufacturing becomes increasingly global, with foreign cars being manufactured in the U.S. and domestic cars sourcing parts and labor overseas, which cars are really the most American? A recent study puts the GMC Acadia Limited and Buick Enclave at the top of the list.

Car and Driver ranked the GMC Acadia Limited and the Buick Enclave as tied for first place in their recent list of the most American cars of 2017. Car and Driver’s list isn’t simply a matter of opinion, either. Their ranking system is based on a new formula developed by a professor at American University. If you’re looking for cars built in America and from parts sourced from the U.S., look no further than the GMC Acadia Limited and the Buick Enclave.

Both models are built at General Motors’ Lansing, Michigan assembly plant, which GM says has turned out more than 2 million vehicles to date–and these cars aren’t just put together in the US; they’re constructed from parts largely sourced in the US, too. The Acadia Limited, for example, sources an incredible 71% of its parts from the U.S. and Canada.

Compared to other cars—even those we typically think of as classically American—the GMC Acadia Limited and Buick Enclave stand out above the rest. Check them both out at today!
